WIRED 96.5 ’96 TRIPS/ 96 DAYS’ WEEKEND CONTEST RULES

1. HOW TO ENTER AND PLAY

a. Wired 96.5 shall give away a trip for two (2) to Florida each Saturday and Sunday, January 12 through March 31, 2013. Trip prizes shall be given away by one of the following methods:

1. Ticket Tag: Listen to Wired 96.5 for the cue to call in to win Saturday and Sundays between 10A and 10P. The 96th caller, or the first eligible caller after the 96th if that caller is ineligible, will win a qualifying prize and qualify for that day’s trip drawing.

Beginning with the 11A hour, and each hour following, the 96th caller will have to give the name of the preceding hour’s winner to win the announced qualifying prize and qualify for the trip drawing. If the 96th caller does not know the previous hour’s winner’s name, Wired 96.5 will continue to take callers until the prize is awarded.

2. Correct Caller: Listen to Wired 96.5 between the announced hours for the cue to call in to win a qualifying prize and qualify for that day’s trip.

3. Text to Win: Listen to Wired 96.5 to announce a code word(s) to text to 60145 to qualify. Multiple entries allowed, but only texts individually generated by phone shall be accepted. Message and data rates may apply. Text HELP to 60145 for help, text STOP to 60145 to cancel. By participating in a Wired 96.5 text-to-win contest, you acknowledge that you shall receive a return text message to your phone. This message may lead you to incur standard text messaging rates.

4. Register to Win: Attend a Wired 96.5 ‘96 Trips’ appearance to register to win. One entry per appearance will be accepted, you need not be present to win. Age restrictions may apply, in which case an alternative method of online entry shall be announced.

5. Online: Register online at wired965.com. YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE WIRED P1 CLUB to enter. Membership is free, enroll at wired965.com. One entry per person shall be accepted.

b. Wired 96.5 shall announce the contest method for each weekend on the preceding Friday.

c. Only one trip qualification per person will be allowed.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

a. This contest is open to all Wired 96.5 listeners who are 20 years of age or older and who are legal US residents and reside in the eight county, greater Philadelphia metro. You must possess a valid, government-issued ID.

b. Employees of Wired 96.5, its licensee, its parent corporation, their affiliated entities, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Philadelphia metro area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win. (“Immediate family members" includes parents (including in-laws), grandparents, siblings (including step-siblings), children (including step-children), grandchildren (including step grandchildren) and each of their respective spouses).

c. Listeners are eligible to win a Wired 96.5 contest only once every 30 days and a major prize valued at $2,500 or more, only once per calendar year. Only one winner per household address is permitted.

3. PRIZES

a. One (1) trip per Saturday and one (1) trip per Sunday shall be awarded.

b. Wired 96.5 may at its sole discretion award a ‘Qualifying’ prize to all entrants for a pre-designated trip prize. Qualifying prize to be determined and announced by Wired 96.5 before the first contest on Saturday and re-announced each hour. Unless otherwise specified, qualifying prize shall be valued at $25.00.

c. Trip prize for January 7 through January 21, 2013 shall be a trip for two to St. Pete Beach, Florida. Trip includes following: Round-trip coach air transportation for two from two from Philadelphia to Tampa, FL (ARV: $1,200), a four-day car rental (ARV: $285) and three (3) nights’ accommodations (single room, double occupancy) at Sirata Beach Resort including beach cabana rental (ARV: $512). Trip does not include ground transportation, meals not included in hotel plan, or any other incidental travel expenses. Total ARV of trip prize is $1,997.

d. Trip prize awarded in the form of vouchers. Winner will use the vouchers to book all travel and hotel. Blackout dates and restrictions may apply. Vouchers are valid for one (1) year from the end of the sweepstakes promotion. Redemption instructions will accompany all vouchers. Liability is limited to the cash value of the package.

e. Winner and guest must travel together. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No compensation will be made in the event of flight cancellation(s) or delay(s). Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Official rules and those set forth by the airline carrier. Wired 96.5 is not responsible for lost, mutilated or stolen travel documents.

f. All prize certificates must be claimed at the office of Wired 96.5, 555 East City Avenue, Suite 330, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, Monday-Friday, between 8:30AM and 5:00PM.

g. Winners have thirty days in which to claim a prize following notification. Any prize not claimed within the allotted time will be considered forfeited and become the property of Wired 96.5. Event tickets included in Qualifying prizes must be claimed by 4:00 p.m. of event date
(or the Friday preceding a weekend event) or they become the property of Wired 96.5.

h. Winner(s) must claim his or her prize in person, and a prize cannot be claimed by third parties on behalf of the winner.

i. Prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash.

a. Monday through Friday the trip prize shall be awarded through a random drawing of that day’s qualifiers at or about 6:00PM and the winner notified by phone. Trip winners for Saturday and Sunday shall be drawn and notified the following Monday in the 7:00AM hour.

b. If the winner(s) cannot be contacted within 24 hours after the prize is awarded an alternate winner may be selected at the station’s discretion. Winners who fail to respond within 24 hours of prize notification are deemed to be waiving their prize claim and the prize will be forfeited.

c. Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.

2. CONDITIONS

a. WARNING: Online listeners to streamed broadcasts may experience a lag in transmissions.

b. Wired 96.5 cannot be held responsible for allegations of telephone malfunctions. Wired 96.5 is not responsible for callers lost or disconnected before completing his or her prize claim. When a caller is lost or disconnected prior to broadcast, Wired 96.5 can, at its discretion, select the next eligible caller received to win/participate. Wired 96.5 is not responsible for any lost connections, miscommunications, failed computer or telephone transmissions, equipment or other technical failure or service interruptions. Wired 96.5is not responsible for any carrier or server delays or failures.

Wired 96.5 and sponsors not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone or other transmission failures of any kind; lost or unavailable network connections; or incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions whether caused by Wired 96.5, users, by any equipment or programming utilized in promotions, games or contests, or by human error which may occur in the processing of submissions, which may limit a participant’s ability to participate.

e. Wired 96.5 reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend a promotion, game or contest should a virus, bug, computer or other problem beyond the control of the station corrupt the administration, security or proper execution of game or contest. Wired 96.5, in its sole discretion, may award prizes to entries received by alternate means. All Internet participants agree to be bound by these rules, and the Official General Rules appearing above.

f. To enter online, you must enter your first name and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, home telephone number and a valid email address in the online entry form. One Internet entry per person and one Internet entry per email address. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible by assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address.

c. Taxes and Liability: Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. Contest winnings will be reported to the Internal Revenue Service and winners can expect to receive a 1099 tax form for prizes which total more than $600 for the year. Qualifying prize is valued at $50.00.

d. By participating in the contest, contestant agrees to have his or her name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation.

e. By participating in the contest, contestant hereby releases and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Wired 96.5, its licensee, affiliates, parents, assigns, successors, employees, sponsors, agents and all others connected with them and the contest from any and all liability, claims, actions and damages sustained or incurred by participation in the contest and the receipt and use of any prize awarded (if any) through such contest arising in any manner whatsoever.

f. Contest winners will be selected and notified of their prize in the manner announced by Wired 96.5. Contest winners (and their guests or travel companions, if any) may be required, in Wired 96.5’s sole discretion, to sign a liability release and a publicity release. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold Wired 96.5, its licensee, parents, affiliates, assigns, successors and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest. Any person who refuses to sign the release will forfeit any and all prizes.

g. Wired 96.5 will be excused from its obligation to air the contest if its performance is delayed or prevented due to causes beyond its control, including, but not limited to acts of God, public enemies, war, civil disorder, fire, flood, hurricanes, explosion, labor disputes or strikes, and any acts by any governmental authority.

h. Wired 96.5, its licensee, affiliates, parents, assigns and successors are not responsible for failure to conduct or for alterations to the contest due to circumstances beyond the control of any such entity.

i. Decisions of Wired 96.5 management with respect to the contest are final.

j. Wired 96.5 reserves the right to end a contest or amend these rules upon announcement on air or publication at Station’s website.

k. Wired 96.5 reserves the right to make changes to the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, which will become effective upon announcement.

l. Wired 96.5 is not responsible for any prizes or certificates lost or stolen after the winner has claimed them from the station.

m. Prizes are awarded ‘as is’ with no guarantees or warranties as to use. Acceptance of a prize releases Wired 96.5, its sponsors and advertisers from all liability and claims concerning the prize, its delivery, and its use.

n. Wired 96.5 is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize. The Wired 96.5 is not responsible for (i) lost, stolen, mutilated, misdirected, postage due, illegible, incomplete or late entries; (ii) telephone or mobile service outages, delays, busy signals, facsimile transmission errors, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call or from sending a text message (if applicable, message and data rates may apply, and Wired 96.5is not responsible for any fees incurred by an entrant for this method of entry); (iii) entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technical difficulties.

o. By participating in this contest, listeners agree to be bound by these rules. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, at the sole discretion of Wired 96.5.

p. Contestants are required to provide truthful information and the Wired 96.5 will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. Wired 96.5will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and Wired 96.5 will also delete any online entry knowingly received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

q. Any materials submitted become the property of Wired 96.5 and will not be returned.

r. No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited. Contests and promotions are subject to all federal, state and local laws.

s. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of all winners are available during regular business hours at the main studio of Wired 96.5 at 555 East City Avenue, Suite 330, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Wired 96.5.
