Once known as Snoop Doggy Dogg, then Snoop Dogg, now say hello to Snoop Lion. 

In the interest of showcasing how he's undergone a complete spiritual and artistic rebirth in Jamaica, Snoop has changed his name and put together a 3 part project: a reggae album, a documentary, and a coffee-table photo book, all titled "Snoop Lion".

"I have always said I was Bob Marley reincarnated," according to The New York Times. "I have always been a Rastafari."

Snoop (real name: Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr.) says he won't be close down his rap game for good... "I could never become Snoop Lion," he says, "if I wasn't Snoop Dogg first." -@BusterRadio
