WIRED 96.5 GUINNESS FIREFIGHTER'S 'GIVE BACK' CONTEST RULES

1. HOW TO ENTER AND PLAY
a. Enter to win at any of the eight Wired Guinness St. Patrick's Day appearances Sunday, March 17, 2013. For a complete list of appearances go towired965.com.
b. One entry per person will be accepted. No purchase necessary, you MUST be present to win.
c. Any materials submitted become the property of the station and will not be returned.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. This contest is open to all Firefighters or retired Firefighters who are 21 years of age or older and who are legal US residents residing in the greater Philadelphia listening area. Entrant must possess a valid, government-issued ID.
b. For this contest 'Firefighter' includes professionals or volunteers, retired or currently active. Entrants may be asked to provide proof of service.
c. Employees of Wired 96.5, its licensee, its parent corporation, their affiliated entities, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Philadelphia metro area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win. ("Immediate family members" includes parents (including in-laws), grandparents, siblings (including step-siblings), children (including step-children), grandchildren (including step grandchildren) and each of their respective spouses).
d. Listeners are eligible to win a Wired 96.5 contest only once every 30 days and a major prize valued at $2,500 or more, only once per calendar year. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.

3. PRIZES
a. One Grand Prize shall be awarded, a 'Philly Sports Weekend' trip for two to Chicago. Trip includes round-trip coach airfare transportation to and from Chicago, ground transportation to and from the airport in Chicago, three (3) nights hotel accommodations (shared room), two (2) three-day CTA bus/subway passes, two (2) tickets with round-trip bus transportation to the August 31, 2013 Temple/Notre Dame basketball game in South Bend, IN and two (2) tickets to the September 1, 2013 Phillies/Cubs baseball game at Wrigley Field. Prize includes food and beverages at both games.
b. Prize does not include transportation to and from the Philadelphia International Airport, any food or beverages not included in the tour package or hotel plan, gratuities, room services, souvenirs or any other expense not specifically included above.
c. Winner and guest must travel together on dates specified by tour operator. Guest must be at least 18 years old unless traveling with a parent or legal guardian.
d. All travel certificates must be claimed at the offices of Wired 96.5, 555 East City Avenue, Suite 330, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, Monday-Friday, between 9:00AM and 5:00PM.
e. Winner has thirty days in which to claim the prize. Any prize not claimed within the allotted time will be considered forfeited and become the property of Wired 96.5.
f. Winner must claim his or her prize in person, and a prize cannot be claimed by third parties on behalf of the winner.
g. Winner must present proof of fire company affiliation prior to receiving his or her prize.
h. Prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash.

4. SELECTION OF WINNERS
a. One winner shall be drawn at random from all entries at 6:00PM. The winner must be present to win.
b. If the winner is not present or does not respond, an alternate winner will be selected. Winners who are present are deemed to be waiving their prize claim and the prize will be forfeited.
c. Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.

5. CONDITIONS
a. Taxes and Liability: Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. Contest winnings will be reported to the Internal Revenue Service and winners can expect to receive a 1099 tax form for prizes which total more than $600 for the year. The ERV of the Grand Prize trip package is $2,338.
b. By participating in the contest, contestant agrees to have his or her name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation.
c. By participating in the contest, contestant hereby releases and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Wired 96.5, its licensee, affiliates, parents, assigns, successors, employees, sponsors, agents and all others connected with them and the contest from any and all liability, claims, actions and damages sustained or incurred by participation in the contest and the receipt and use of any prize awarded (if any) through such contest arising in any manner whatsoever.
d. Contest winners will be selected and notified of their prize in the manner announced by Wired 96.5. Contest winners (and their guests or travel companions, if any) may be required, in Wired 96.5's sole discretion, to sign a liability release and a publicity release. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold Wired 96.5, its licensee, parents, affiliates, assigns, successors and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest. Any person who refuses to sign the release will forfeit any and all prizes.
e. Wired 96.5 will be excused from its obligation to air the contest if its performance is delayed or prevented due to causes beyond its control, including, but not limited to acts of God, public enemies, war, civil disorder, fire, flood, hurricanes, explosion, labor disputes or strikes, and any acts by any governmental authority.
f. Wired 96.5, its licensee, affiliates, parents, assigns and successors are not responsible for failure to conduct or for alterations to the contest due to circumstances beyond the control of any such entity.
g. Decisions of Wired 96.5 management with respect to the contest are final.
h. Wired 96.5 reserves the right to end a contest or amend these rules upon announcement on air or publication at wired965.com.
i. Wired 96.5 reserves the right to make changes to the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, which will become effective upon announcement.
j. Wired 96.5 is not responsible for any prizes or certificates lost or stolen after the winner has claimed them from the station.
k. Prizes are awarded 'as is' with no guarantees or warranties as to use. Acceptance of a prize releases Wired 96.5, its sponsors and advertisers from all liability and claims concerning the prize, its delivery, and its use.
l. Wired 96.5 is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize. Wired 96.5 is not responsible for (i) lost, stolen, mutilated, misdirected, postage due, illegible, incomplete or late entries; (ii) telephone or mobile service outages, delays, busy signals, facsimile transmission errors, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call or from sending a text message (if applicable, message and data rates may apply, and Wired 96.5 is not responsible for any fees incurred by an entrant for this method of entry); (iii) entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technical difficulties.
m. By participating in this contest, listeners agree to be bound by these rules. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification, at the sole discretion of Wired 96.5.
n. Contestants are required to provide truthful information and the Wired 96.5 will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Wired 96.5 will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and Wired 96.5 will also delete any online entry knowingly received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
o. Any materials submitted become the property of Wired 96.5 and will not be returned.
p. No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited. Contests and promotions are subject to all federal, state and local laws.
q. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of all winners are available during regular business hours at the main studio of Wired 96.5 at 555 East City Avenue, Suite 330, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Wired 96.5.
