Beasley Broadcasting Inc. – Philadelphia - WIred 96.5 is seeking interns who are currently enrolled in broadcasting, communication, marketing, or PR programs. WIred 96.5 is offering the following internships to students who are interested in gaining work experience in the field of Radio Marketing/Promotions & Broadcasting. These are NON-PAID positions and are strictly for college credits. Wired 96.5’s has created an internship program that will provide a hand’s on experiences in both the programming and promotion departments. We have broken the internship program up into three segments. Duties will focus on the following: On-Site Promotion – The student will assist the promotion coordinator or promotion director in their daily activities. The student will learn the day-to-day duties of the promotion department. Off-Site Promotion – The student will assist our promotion team with the station’s events. The events that the student will attend will be sales events and community events that the station hosts as marketing and promotion for our station. Programming – The student will assist our jock in their daily show activities. The student will be performing duties ranging from answering the studio phones to assisting in production for our jocks. Although hours are flexible, students will be asked to work daytime, evening and weekend hours.
