12 year-old Shane Matus was enjoying his Six Flag’s adventure when something suddenly struck him in the face. Shane was riding the tallest rollercoaster in the worlds, Kingda Ka, when a pigeon flew into his neck! He thought someone threw a ball until he started spitting up feathers. When he looked behind, he saw blood and feathers covering those behind him on the rollercoaster. There were no broken bones and Shane said he felt like he had been hit in the face a few times. Shane says he will ride Kingda Ka again, but will refrain from sitting in the front row.
