I don't know about you, but there's nothing like the Olympics to make me proud to be an American. It's been an interesting past two days filled with surprising loses and amazing wins. For the first time since he was 15-years-old, Michael Phelps walked away without a medal. Instead, Ryan Lochte took the gold in the 400m IM. Phelps came in 4th place surprising people around the world. As if that wasn't surprising enough gymnastics World Champion Jordyn Wieber failed to qualify for the gymnastics all-around finals instead she will have to watch her teammates, Gaby Douglas and Aly Raisman, compete. As it stands, the USA now holds 13 medals, three of which are gold, in women's swimming, men's swimming, and shooting.
